THE STUDENT BODY

In August, 2014, Susanna was appointed as the Math Center coordinator; one-course release (see the appointment letter from Dean Genie Gertz). The Math Center website was established for the first time in the school's history:

The Gallaudet University Math Center provides free, walk-in, and one-to-one tutoring in a friendly, personalized atmosphere.  The Math Center website includes:

1. Tutoring Schedules

2. Tutor Biographies

3. Math Resources

4. Survey Questions

  • In the fall of 2014, the Math Center had 6 math coaches, many who serve as in-class tutors (ICT), supplemental instructor (SI), walk-in (WI) tutors, and/or one-to-one (OTO)

  • October 30, 2014: Meeting with Jerri-Lyn Dormity and Thelma Schroeder (click here to read minutes about Student and Learning Outcomes)
