THE STUDENT BODY

1.1.   Math Center Coordinator  

As the Math Center coordinator (one-course release), since August, 2014, Susanna has continued to update the webpages. Also, she scheduled in-class and walk-in tutoring sessions during her summer work. 

 

The Math Center website includes:

1. Tutoring Schedules [Zoom.us webconferencing sessions added from 7pm to 9pm]

2. Tutor Biographies [The frame of all math coaches designed in one large screen]

3. Math Resources [The design adjusted, along with icons/logos]

4. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) [Linda Williams asked me to add FAQ's]

 

 

THE ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT

2.1.   GSR 104 Coordinator

Revised all GSR 104 syllabi with feedback

* Attended GSR meetings 

* Course observations

* Make course copies via Blackboard (Starfish, Surveys, Intended Links in Bb Course Menu, and so forth)

* Course Level Assessments

* Created the training modules

2.2.   Helped to complete the bulletin board in Spring 2016 (see the picture below)

THE UNIVERSITY

3.1.   VL2 Center's Eye Gaze

Susanna's third baby was invited to participate in the Brain and Language Laboratory's (BL2) study of eye gaze using a system called functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) on August 19, 2016, and again using the small black and white robot on October 27, 2016 

 

THE COMMUNITY

3.1.   First Folio

Attended the First Folio events twice (October 8 and October 22)

3.2.   Homecoming

Spent time with former UFC champion, Matt "the Hammer" Hamill, and Joshua Beal, CEO of DeafTax (October 29)

3.3.   An Evening with the Mandela Washington

Fellows

Met eleven young fellows at the President Cordano's House (August 2)
