Short Biography

Born in Malawi, Africa, and ninth generation citizen of South Africa. Attended the De La Bat School for the Deaf in Worcester, Western Cape, South Africa. Graduated with matric honors, and went on to get a certificate in Graphic Design from MacTrain College in Muizenberg, South Africa. Traveled overseas to America to further education at Gallaudet University and McDaniel College, respectively. Graduated from both institutions with Summa Cum Laude honors. Currently a doctorate student at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

 

 

Actively involved in developing GSR 104 (Quantitative Reasoning) materials since Fall 2012. See some work: Bilingual Approaches Seminar (BAS) and Multicultural Transformation (MCT).

 

Currently serving as a GSR 104 coordinator, Math Center Coordinator, Faculty Development Committee (FDC), and a member of Gallaudet Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Initiative (GSLTI).
